The Whole Brevity Thing

Purchased tickets yesterday for the Kaiser Chiefs/The Walkmen show at The Warfield on April 27th. Should be awesome, even though the idea of waiting two months is kind of lame. I dropped the ball for the Dandy Warhols and Cold War Kids, respectively, and now both concerts are sold out, so I didn't want to delay with this one, especially since the last time I saw The Walkmen I had a religious experience.

Mick Rock is “The Man Who Shot the 70s.” Check out his classic images of David Bowie, Iggy Pop, and Syd Barrett.

This is a beautiful photography site by Bernhard Wolff.

Off topic: When you join the circus don't complain when people laugh at your clown suit or your clown death.
Then again when the circus is the only act in town who can blame anyone with tendencies for self-expression for seizing the opportunity.
Besides, living too long is over-rated ask any crone stewing over a caulderon.
And more importantly never as in "Never Ever" under estimate(in general)the power of a cheap shot aka a joke at someone else's expense(preferably the farther from your sphere of influence for etiquette's sake as possible)for building up your own self esteem or general glee since everyone needs a little glee in their day and what better way then a slapstick moment on someone else's dime.
It's only made funnier by identification of personal experienced tragedy. In other words generally speaking(since we can never account for those evolutionary mutants)those who laugh loudest tend to be those who hurt most.Collorary: Can't be Funny unless it hurts.
Thus the need for laughter at any cost.
Whoa that was really off topic.
Oh well.
