BIOGRAPHY

Rob Simons is a writer and photographer based in Los Angeles. For over 20 years, he’s helped brands and artists tell stories that captivate and create lasting impact. His work has been described as smart, accessible, and fun. He believes in the power of humor to connect with audiences on a deeper emotional level.

Rob received his BA in Film Studies from UC Santa Barbara and his MFA in Writing from California College of the Arts (CCA) in San Francisco.

He began his career as an English professor at Cosumnes River College in Sacramento, where he was nominated for Teacher of the Year in 2005.

His collection of stories, Things Kept Burning, was published in 2006. Rob also collaborated with German director Werner Herzog on the screenplay for Rescue Dawn, which debuted at the 2006 Toronto Film Festival.

Since 2006, he’s worked in advertising, bringing joy and offbeat humor to some of the most iconic brands in the world.
